You have no input on of "I love you" having meaning or not. You don't determine the frequency, intent and feeling of what other couples say to one another.

You seem to think your opinion matters more than it does.

I used to be pretty stingy with "I love you's", but not any more.

Maybe it is because I'm in NY and personally know some who died in 9-11, but ever since then I make sure I say it all the time. You never know when the last opportunity to say it will be.

So, why would anyone complain about hearing people telling someone they love them? Good grief.
