I think you should be open about your origins. If women from your background are known to be bad dates (never heard of this type of thing) you might want to put a good face out there for them.
I am curious if people think it's wrong to lie about your ethnic identity ?I won't mention which race I am, but I will say that many people have extreme negative views about the women in my racial group. For this reason, I lie about my ethnic background.
Do you think this is wrong?
Uh; "race" and "ethnic" ain't the same.
A "Hispanic" is an "ethnicity" but can be of ANY race or a mix.
I don't have a lot of friends because I just relocated to a new city (for job related reasons). I was primarily referring to my association with some guys. I have noticed that people respect me more, when they don't know I'm of a particular ethnic background.
Huh......most guys I know ethnicity is low on the list of the things they look for.
I typically tell people I am a different ethnic background. I know that it shouldn't matter, but I have noticed that I'm treated better when people don't know my true ethnic identity.

I have a sneaking suspicion your ethnicity is troll.
Why? I never gave a crap what other people think about me.
