everyone keep saying give off a vibe, Idon't know how to do that though. Sometimes they ignore me, refuse to make eye contact and sometimes they don't smile back. It all just makes me feel bad.
Are you forcing the interaction? It sounds like you are.
Expecting someone else to do something and then blaming yourself when they don't is a bad idea. You can't make anyone do anything.
its easy enough to get me to approach you. all you need is to be friendly, open to approach, and reasonably cute. i dont even care if your boyfriend is there.

Yeah, I'd be a little cautious when it comes to women that are spoken for. She could tell me that she wants me and can't live without me, but if I see a man right there and they are a little cozy, I'm ain't goin there.
Otherwise, I'd make it a point to talk to the boyfriend as well.

I know that sounds simplistic, but the look on your face is what will either attract or repel people most of the time okay?
If you are smiling when someone meets your eye it will make you seem more approachable.
Also be ready to say something. Even just "hi" would be good, though you could say something about the environment you are both in, like "I can't believe the price of these strawberries." or "this summer rain is getting so old".

Your blog entries indicate you have a serious problem with men as a gender, bordering on misandry. If you think men/people don't pick up on that, you're wrong. I would work on that first.

*If you look bored, you also look disinterested, lots of people have said "smile" or "give a good vibe" but basically those 2 are aspects of being approachable, or rather... to not be unapproachable. Turning somebody who has a ****ty day and currently think everything sucks around to a flirtatious notion is a HUGE job and asking a miracle from the guy, hence not many will try.
*Looks make the approach-er approach. Everyone with brain-cells wants a girl who also has them, but the first thing they see about you is never your brains, it's your looks. If your looks does not inspire attraction, well most people aren't desperate enough for friends to be approaching for it, and without attraction friendship is all it could be.
-Nobody is asking anyone to look like a supermodel, just make sure you're not dressing like somebodys grandmother or smudging yourself with too much make-up. I have absolutely no clue what OP looks like, but with near 0 approaches I would guess you can do stuff to enhance your appearance.
-Men don't give a crap about what shoes you wear or handbag you carry, so nvm those, just wear a dress that shows off the important stuff, bum and breasts to put it bluntly, legs is a plus.
-Focus on cleavage, and playful hairstyle (don't screw around with too many colors etc, just make sure it's long and looks soft.) and for F!!k sake don't go with a too bright red lipstick.
Basically look like you cared about what you look like, but don't overdo.
*Stay the hell away from blockers. You are not an NFL quarterback, so you don't need your girly friends to shove the men away for you, it is very hard to approach a woman who is with her friends, and most guys won't even try. Womens damned friends are responsible for messing up even the most promising approaches.
*Nothing forbids you to open the conversation. You don't necessary need to hit on the guy, but do start conversations with guys. We(men) always evaluate all women we meet based on if we can have sex or not. If the guy you start talking finds you somewhat desirable and has more balls than a chicken, he will hit on you. It may be subtle, it may be awkward but he will. technically you're doing the initial "approaching" in this scenario, but you still leave him with the lionpart of the work when it comes to nailing a meet-up.
if all above fails, you simply have to realize you have to take active part in approaching on your own, welcome to the reality men face their entire lives.
