My SO gets turned on during sex when talking about ex's, the size of their private parts and how we had sex. To me talking is a turn off, PERIOD, especially about ex's! I told my SO, if anything, let's talk about us. I still don't like that because my SO gets distracted and ends up neglecting what should be doing or stopping in the middle to talk. I told my SO this and then says but it turns me on and is upset I don't my SO to do it at all. It is putting a strain on our sex life but we can't seem to meet in the middle.
^^^^^^^^ you couldn't see this strange emotional baggage while you two were first dating? Most people are turned off and wouldn't go beyond the first date with this kind of talk

What the OP is talking about is not cool. I'm not referring to that.
Communication and dirty talk, as well as loving talk and even objectifying talk, all have their time and place. Different people like different things. There is no shortage or people into the "daddy", etc. talk.
