Mine was Donny Osmond. I wrote him a love letter when I was a kid. I got a form letter back "signed" by Donny, along with offers to send for Donny Osmond jigsaw puzzles and posters. I knew even then it was a form letter because it thanked me for calling my local radio stations and requesting Donny's songs, but I had never done that.
I had my first crush back in kindergarten. He was in second grade and I was attracted to his physical appearance. I didn't know much about him except he had a dog, lived in a nice house, he was sort of a bad boy (failed a grade), and oh yea, he was my sister's, friend's little brother.
Fast forward to third grade. One day at school, we had some sort of assembly in the gym. A group of my bullies at the time (who mainly teased me, never anything physical) told me in front of everyone, my friends, some other students, and their friends that, "He don't want chu!" and laughed. It broke my heart and I cried. i stopped having a crush on him then and there.
Fast forward to tenth grade. My former crush and I ended up having the same class together, Broadcast Journalism. He turned out uuuugly! His pants were sagging, he wore over-sized coats (even when it was hot), his teeth were heavy with plaque, he looked really greasy, and I later found out he was into drugs; huge turn off.
I was really attracted to Greg Evigan in BJ and the Bear...before I was even aware of "boys".
The first real crush (not a celeb) that I can recall was when I was in 5th grade. I was interested from afar. Being that I towered over all the boys, I knew better.
