The end of the month is always stressful - in many jobs. I often wonder why, when everyone has the other 28 days of the month to prepare for the end. LOL

You usually spend the first two weeks doing crap from the last month, then waiting for others to do their stuff at the end of the month. Then it's a rush to get everything done. That's my experience, anyway.
First my tools got nicked, then I've had a couple of heavy nights out ( celebrating Aussie day of course ) and now I've had a right row with the foreman and lost this job!!!.
However silver lining I suppose as I'm starting on an old firm for better money and not even a 10 minute walk away ......... Life is certainly a " funny old game " for sure LOL!!!
Talk about some BS, I've got that trip/interview scheduled for this coming Monday and right now I feel sick as a f ing dog. Got the fever/cold thing happening. I haven't got sick since I can't remember when and 3 days before the interview and here we sit . I'm sucking down coldeez/ zinc every 2 or 3 hours, I'm just praying I can be ok for Monday morning. I'm not sure if I should just reschedule, but IDK, afraid that might lead to a bad impression. I'm not sure which way to go. I've got to figure out when is the very last I can cancel the flight and car and hotel without getting dinged.
Part of me is just hoping that in a couple of days I should be ok enough to just load up on cold meds next week during the day and fake it..... IDK, Unfortunately they are going to be long days as we'll be on jobsites and afterward going out to dinner, so it makes for a longer work day.

This question is completely unrelated however, in the UK what does it mean when someone tells someone else they are *Posh*?
Besides learning more title 49 CFR chapters 171 to 178 almost inclusive, I also learned that Des Moines is kind of a cool town.
