I've got a stupid FB question. If I make a post all of my "friends" can see it. That makes sense. If one of my friends makes a comment off of my post I can only assume that our "conversation" is only seen by my friends since I started the initial post by typing in the "what's on your mind" box. All of a poster's other friends that aren't my friends shouldn't be able to see what I posted, should they? I assume not.
I would think that if I responded to someone else's post, then all of his friends that aren't my friends would still be able to see it but my "friends" that aren't his friends wouldn't be able to see it.
I didn't see any kind of help area on FB to find this out on my own.
Hopefully this makes some sense.
On my fb I still see comments posted to my friends from nonfriends.
Seems only private messages are only to that particular friend.
When I was a kid, my mom would make my dad "Sweet & Sour Mestball Stew". It had vinegar and spices in it that, while it was cooking, coukd choke a horse.
Chow, in privacy settings you can manage who sees what. There is public, friends of friends or a custom list.
The mechanic called. Looks like $3,000 to fix my pickup.

Yeah, that was I was talking about. LOL. I was watching some TV and Mrs. Chow was in the kitchen going to work on that vinegar dish, it was a Filipino dish btw, and man, the vinegar fumes were making my eyes water while it was cooking. It was good though, I like that sour taste of vinegar.
Nothing clears my kitchen/dining area faster than when I add the vinegar to the cabbage or Brussels sprouts - my kids lose it when I prepare this type of dish! They won't even touch the stuff. I skipped the vinegar once and offered the cabbage seasoned without it and they still turned it down. So, I just make it how I like it, and warn them when I'm about to add the acidity. Problem solved.

We are trying to sell our house and it is so hard to keep my mother from cooking stinky(but delicious)things like cabbage and broccoli...and I am big believer in using vinegar and water to clean the wood floors and shower doors...so I know all to well the eye stinging feeling...
We supposedly had an earthquake here in So Cal, down in San Diego county which is a good 80 miles or so south of us, I didn't feel jack squat, couple of people in my FB feed said they did. LOL. I guess it was a 5.2 which is a pretty decent one, probably why so many people up in LA county felt it.
We're overdue for a real shaker, it's been awhile.

Does mom live with you?? Good lord, I love the MIL but man, I'm glad she isn't living with us.

The major quake was north ridge in 94. You're way overdue.
I should think about saddling up for a 12 hour day.
