Tell him how much you love him... don't hold back... let yourself go, don't worry about social convention, don't worry about whether or not you should be like that.

Don't worry about ego, don't worry about protecting yourself. Don't worry about looking silly. Don't worry about anything.....

Be there there for him, be there for him. Forget about looking like how you should behave....

Thanks, Chow. Thank you to those who PMed me.

I just saw the news about Mohammad Ali, I remember being a little girl when he was up and coming. He was bigger than life.

Time to cut grass - my yard then his.

I find those everyday chores therapeutic during difficult times. Something about them in a small way makes me feel like I'm righting the wrong, and because they require little mental energy I'm usually on autopilot and meditating mentally in the background.

That's how I feel. Chores like mowing allow my mind to wander. Working on something that requires thought occupies my mind and keeps it on track when it needs distraction. A few hours after the oncologist appointment, I went to work. Co-workers told me to go home, but if I did that, I'd only be worse off.

Sometime I feel that way about cooking. Something about it can be therapeutic. We have a window in our kitchen that overlooks a court yard area. Sometimes when rinsing veggies off I look out the window on a nice sunny day and sometimes I forget about things....
