I used to work at a university where a professor shot and killed himself in the next building over from my office. We didn't know until the next day which professor it was, so I spent the whole night wondering if it was one I knew and worked with. It ended up being one I didn't know because he was new to the school that semester. My friend and co-worker was in the middle of a proposal with him. It was very sad. Fortunately he didn't take anyone else out with him.

Well...... I went to a famous problem/ tough secondary school ( HS ) where the head master got stabbed to death whilst protecting a pupil.. Philip Lawrence was his name and it was head line news and he was a good bloke...

After the school was a tough place to be ... and Julie Walters was in a film dedicated to the woman ( the head mistress in my last year ) " who saved the school "

But like your post its too close for comfort

I'm really sorry to hear this. When people, even if it's just people on a "screen", when we say we know how you feel and what you're going through, just know that you're not alone in how you're feeling and that every feeling that you have that comes up is natural. They will swing all over the place at times and that's is ok too.

Hospice people are the nicest and most caring and understanding group of health care workers that I've ever seen. I've heard this sentiment echoed by a lot of people through the years.

Hang in there.

I'm sorry to hear this gel

Yeah I lost an aunt last year and now another one is in ICU.... Her organs are failing and had a heart attack so at 74 I think it's only time

But I'm fine as I didn't know her but my mum is a bit all over the shop as she lost a big sister last year and now her biggest sister which is obviously upsetting for me.

So I wish mr meta can make it my love my fingers are crossed for you both
