We are leaving Thursday but stopping on the way to look at the other property and spend the night with our Daughter and her family (I think).
Then we will continue on Friday morning, I don't really like getting there Friday evening though because that is the annual fish fry and I do not like fish and the stench from fish frying makes me sick to my stomach. They also do not cook anything besides the fish on Friday, blech.

Take care everyone.

One refrig I had the fan would stop turning at times, when the compressor was running. I would take a stick to turn the blade & it would start working again.

One refrig the freezer would buildup a layer of ice below the freezer bottom panel. I took out the ice & it started freezing again.

I'm cleaning the coils now. It was pretty nasty back there. Never had any trouble with it until today though.

When we were in Milwaukee, WI for our Daughters Masters Graduation I saw a girl walking down the street later that evening with a cow on her shoulders.
I can honestly say that was a first and after all of the things I have seen, read about, participated in and watched there are not that many firsts left for me.

We had Borden's in Decatur Illinois when I was a child and lived close to there. That is where I was born but when we got older for whatever reason my Mother switched to Prairie Farms and that is what I use now all these years later.
That was after we moved into town though, before that we would trade eggs for milk with the neighbors.
It took me a long time to be able to drink store milk without gagging.

To the person who left the anonymous rep comment of "You liked it." Hell no I didn't like it. I was scared and horrified at the same time. I thought she was going to throw her damn back out at any moment, and nothing was moving!

Prairie Farms, or Dean's, and Oberweis chocolate milk in the glass bottles. Yum.
