I hear that, CSD. I've been through some rough ones myself.

Right now I'm apparently mourning my refrigerator because the ice maker seems to be broken, and there is bunch of stuff in the freezer that appears to be thawing out.

Just what I needed at 12:30PM
How hungry are you? lol

Seriously, that sucks.

Bio, I'm sorry to hear that, cooler and ice for tonight or start cooking or both.
I'm sure we will, CSD.

I found a place for sale in the same little town we are already looking at and I want to go and see it Thursday on our way South.
The property is smaller but it is move in ready according to the listing but no inside photos. The price is better and I bet we could get it for about $4000.00 less than listed price.
Plenty of room to expand as well and no neighbors to look at since the back of the home is facing the neighbors.

That sounds good.

It sounds like the compressor is running. Might be the condenser. I just went grocery shopping too. Sigh! Going to buy bags of ice I guess.

Mr. CSD is going to build the girls a bunny hutch type thingy when we get moved so they can go outside but be contained and safe.

Edited to add: Yesterday I saw a donation box at our local grocery so I may not have to drive 25 miles either direction to take donations if that box is for clothing and other items.
That would be great because our local grocery is only 1 mile from our home.

He should check out pinterest. They have plans for all kinds of DIY coops and bunny pens and stuff.

We have to get surgery done first, then settle on a place, get it purchased and get moved then we can make definite plans for the hutch.
My idea is to have a place where their litter boxes have access from the outside but obvious they have access from inside.
Hopefully that makes sense and you can picture it.

You could even do it straight from a window like this

Or another idea for an indoor cat box is you put it in a cedar chest like this. Cuts down on smells anyway.
