I used to be a sci fi nerd, sometimes I'll watch those kinds of movies, but I just lost all interest in Star Trek and Star wars and the whole nine. If we watch it, it will be on Netflix, I wouldn't go anywhere near a theater right now, there's talk of it breaking opening weekend box office records.

Speaking of that we just re-watched that movie by M Night, "Signs" it was really a very well done film, it has a few slower scenes but overall it's a great movie, and technically well crafted.

Hopefully it was a good movie and worth fighting the crowds.

I like them both, but Star Wars has the nostalgic element too. My brother and I watched the original 3 on videos over & over lol

It wasn't too bad, my friends pre-booked the tickets, and it was at a smaller cinema, not those huge complexes. I think I've mentioned this one before... You can bring wine/cheese boards in and all that. They tend to show a lot more independent/ foreign films there.
I liked it.... Much better than episodes I,II & III

I'll have to check that out. I saw a preview for a movie Id watch... French movie "meet the beliers"
La famille Bélier (2014) - IMDb

I get up this morning, stumble out and make coffee. Coffee was done, a few sips and three hours later I wake up again. Evidently I was exhausted.

Santa just drove by on the back of a fire truck, pelting the neighborhood children candy canes. Man, I love Christmas.

The jeep I was bidding on is getting beyond what I am willing to pay. I might have to cruise craigslist and eBay for a project.

It would have been loads of fun playing in the hills and trips to the mountains playing on trails.

I'm surprised in this day and age of helicopter parenting, no one loses, everyone gets a trophy PC bull crap that Santa would be allowed to pelt kids with sugary cavity inducing, blood glucose raising candy at them.

Hahahaha!

I laughed so hard reading this.

I'm envisioning kids running after the fire truck, all smiles, and each kid...one by one...getting smack in the head (in slow motion) with a candy cane...

Then their overly protective and nauseating parents reacting in shock and horror...
