What are some topics or things that turn off the opposite sex and make them not want to get close to you?

From experience:

Men : they hate it when you guilt trip them or talk about commitment or treat them like a platonic friend

Women: I hate it when they talk about sex too early or if they don't respect my wishes/requests or act like they didn't hear me when I asked them to do something

I never met a woman that wanted to talk about hard core under ground 90s hip hop.

I always wish I could have met a woman that wanted to make love to ODB's Shimmy Ya, and Mobb Deep's Shook Ones Part 2.

... pretty much everything I like to talk about ... politics, science, old rock music, lifting weights... fortunately my son likes to talk about all the same things, but it's going to get pretty quiet around here when he leaves for college.

Ok I was asleep for most 90s hip hop. Then I moved west and it was all about E-40, Richie Rich and Hieroglyphics.

My 90s hip hop albums were Brand Nee Heavies' Heavy Rhyme Experience. And Born Jamericans.

I would not talk to you either if you even try to guilt me into anything, I would be out the door before you finished your sentence.

Your second item does not put you in the best light either.
