We were on a small trip to Tampa, looking for houses, so we "celebrated" by going to dinner. But we were celebrating the fact that we finally find a home more than anything.

I love gifts, romance, etc. But come on Valentine's Day is cheesy and fake romance. It's one thing for our daughter to exchange cards at school, but I don't consider this an adult holiday. That's just me. Maybe because I am originally a foreigner, maybe other reasons, but I look at the big deal over it, and I'm like "you can't be serious!?"

Sounds like fun. Yes, all women like to be romanced, but some get too obsessed w/ it. Good for you for being a little more rational.

What I'd like for V-Day is when I get involved with Ms. Right. to wrap herself but make sure she has on some lace panties and bra. That's a gift I could appreciate every year

That with whipped cream and a popsicle. Use your imagination.

Every time a man I'm with mentions his 'favorite' car, I always wonder - would it be a good gift to rent it for him for a day? Would a man like something like that?

You could do "that", or... you could tie a bow around yourself, to make yourself a "gift", and then do "that" xD

buy him beer and just hang out? do something with him that you don't do, but he does. He'll think that is pretty cool. God knows that's all I personally want.

Why are you guys making this so complicated? I thought all a man wants is special sex on this day, complete with sexy wrapping...or maybe I'm too simple minded.
