Never ask a woman to "hang out" unless you mean it in a "Netflix and chill" kind of way. If you're interested in a woman and want to get to know her better, ask her if she'd like to do something specific, like get lunch, or coffee, or go to a baseball game. "Do you want to hang out sometime?" makes you sound like an indecisive, unambitious guy who doesn't really have much interest.

That's what I thought too, but lately on this board there seems to be a trend of needing to get to know a girl first to evaluate/guarantee her interest level prior to asking her out regardless of how many signals she throws a guy's way.
Be aware of girls who like horses... I know that sounds like a silly statement... just beware. Any woman who likes horses wants a fairytale and expensive ones. Also any woman who wants to ride a big beast is going to expect to ride you. Which could be bad if you dont like being on the bottom. :-)

She asked me to contact her at the end of the week, if I still want to hang out and see if we can find some time. Sounds like she thinks I'm not that interested or I'm flakey. I told her I will check back w her in a few days. It's nice she may try to find some time when she has plans for the weekend already. I think I'll tell her that the weekend is still good for me but we can meet up during the week if she'd prefer that. My schedule is flexible anyway.
