Flipping around channels and practically every other ad is for some kind of weight loss program or products. Guess it's that time of the year and all.

Best New Years Eve ever! Had dinner, went to a hockey game, was in bed early and out the door to work without even being hung over! I should have started this years ago.

Happy New Year Kits!

I fell asleep. No one warned me that you start to become old in mid thirties.

We were up until after 3:00am, and I got up at 7:00am. Reconsidered my plans and went back to bed and slept until 11:00am and spent the day binge watching Netflix with the fam. Did anyone watch the Rose parade? Did we miss anything?

Oh, and happy new year, y'all! 🎉🍾🎆

I wanted very much to go to the NYE party at the club, but it snowed and temperatures plummeted, it was windy and roads got icy. While I am perfectly capable of driving in these conditions, as much as anyone, I strongly prefer not to if it's not something I absolutely MUST do. So fun activities and social engagements...they just don't meet the bar for driving on ice. Besides which there are always drunk drivers out on NYE, too. Boyfriend feels the same way, so we stayed in.

I had both of my sons and their girlfriends at the house, so we ordered pizza and watched movies and then flipped to the countdown on the news at the last minute (literally.) It was, all in all, a quiet and somewhat disappointing night, but only because I was so looking forward to the look on boyfriend's face when the club owner surprised him with a patch. He does not remotely expect such a thing. Not sure if they're going to do it at another party in the near future now, or the next patching ceremony in April. *sigh* Oh well. Not worth risking life and limb over!

Weather was crud here too, but rain. Caused flooding in some places. My partner and I kept it mellow (and sober) and am glad for it. It was nasty out.

Aside from a float catching on fire? lol We didn't watch the parade, but we saw it on the news. I guess they got it put out without further incident. Don't know what caused it.

And Happy New Year to you!

That's a mean thing to say.

I started out as one of those people, and I'm down nearly 14 bmi points.

Give em a chance, perhaps even some encouragement.
