Well gee. We go from perimenopause, to weaning a 4 yo 6 months ago, to you feeding off of her so much that she starts lactating again.

Hm... I think I'm done. Have a nice life.

I don't blame her for being weird about sex, since she is not on the pill and has a 4-year-old that was still breast-feeding.

If you want worry-free sex, you need to be with someone who is using more reliable birth control herself. If this is going to be a consistent obstacle, you probably aren't a match.
We are using condom + withdrawal. 99.8% + 98% safe.
How much more safe do I need to be?

I am wondering if she has hidden reasons she isn't telling me. In February, she said she doesn't want to have sex until the 6 month mark. We started early, so I wonder if she is just trying to buy time. Today, I definitely heard her say something about "testing" when I asked about no sex no period.

Perimenopause is possible at age 42 but then again, so is pregnancy, especially when paired with lactating breasts and no period, and prior sex.

Hormonally or surgically safe. Condoms are NOT foolproof.

Besides, you're 40 years old. Aren't you tired of pulling out like a teenager??

It sounds like it. I don't actually believe her comment about understanding her body.

A 42-year-old with a 4-year-old has a lot going on. Does she have other kids?

What on earth sense does it make not to have sex because she hasn't had a period? What will not having sex do to change that?
She responded with "because I am very nervous and anxious and cannot focus on sex"

She doesn't want you sexually.

Let me guess, this surprise noob post is a warm-up to "women marry 'stable' males they're not attracted to in order to have those males support their children - look, this one did a guy she was hot for and got a kid and she'll probably cheat on supporter OP later while denying the OP sex" ...how warm am I? do I get a prize? Welcome new poster.

She has a teenager too.
Condoms are not foolproof; I am fine with 99.8% + 98%.

I'm in training for the next 3 years for only $18.40 an hour for a job that will pay $90k a year.
I don't think she sees me as a sugar daddy.

There is no such thing as 99.8 + 98% protection. That would be 197.8%. Nobody can be almost 200% non-pregnant.

People get pregnant with these methods or they would be considered 100% preventative. (Individually.)

Actually, I might throw hypothyroidism out there. She should get her levels checked, missed periods and hot flashes are symptoms of low thyroid production. As well as low sex drive. My period was a disaster when my levels were off. 3-4 momths of no period, 6 weeks on period. I experienced all of tgose sh ptoms and more.
