You might also contact someone with the Department of Aging and Disability Services. At least I think that's the name. I know the acronym is DADS. They may have some ideas for alternative living situations and how to pay for it. Or some in home services that she might qualify for.

Good luck with it--it's tough no matter how you try to work it out.
