Would you consider it to be in bad taste if your date asks for a doggie bag? (social, honest)

It's not a dealbreaker per se, but I would prefer that there were no doggy bags on a first date.
My first dates (and usually the second and third) are usually dinner plus some other activity (movie, a walk, something). It seems such a nuisance (and not romantic in the least) to have a styrofoam box full of food during the post-dinner activity. And you wouldn't want to stink up the date's car by leaving it in there (again, not the most romantic way to end the evening with a goodnight kiss in a garlicy car), or worry about it not being refrigerated.
That said, I once had a date get a doggy bag pretty early on in our dating (I cant remember but I don't think it was a first date). We were at a downtown restaurant, and as we exited the restaurant and started walking, he offered his doggy bag to a homeless person that we passed by, who was grateful for the food. That definitely made an impression

Now, this IS impressive! First, the guy's gesture (that's what he most likely intended to do anyway); second, the homeless person being appreciative as they usually don't care for food being given to them.

Yeah they usually want money for booze or drugs. But when I was in D.C. a few years back there were homeless beggers hanging around outside of a McDonalds. I purposely didn't eat my fries and gave them to a man when I was leaving and he seemed extrordinarily grateful. He started gobbling them before they left my hand.

That's sad. I guess some truly ARE hungry. Sometimes (and right now) I feel guilty being judgemental about the booze, though. I want my drinks, too... why wouldn't they?

...and who needs a drink more than the homeless? LOL
Yes, I have, esp. when I lived back east. I haven't seen such a sign since I moved out here.
