I dunno, just think it's a very small thing compared to the entire evening?
Now if you start filling your purse up with the left over bread, crackers and sugar, well, that's a whole different ball game...LOL
OMG you crack me up. I just went visual on that. I might just have to direct the guy to the local food bank or something. No kidding though, this is one of my mom's biggest battles with my 79 year old grandmother. She insists on taking the bread or crackers home and my mother is like "mom please, it's not like there is no food in the house, put that back". My grandmother gets ticked off about it but puts it back murmuring under her breath. Tooooooooo funny.

You're cracking me up and I can't rep you again, Crem....

I do draw the line at entering the dumpster on a first date, though. I have my standards!

Ummm. Well depends on how good that salad bar is you know. Some places got some real good ones going on. Stock up on all them little tomato's and garbanzo beans.

Standards are good, best leave that for the second date. You know you got a keeper if the date leads the way and climbs in with ya.

That is exactly why I said that, my grand mother was the same way...so was my aunt...they were depression kids...and yeah, to funny, my cousin's wife and I always laugh about that...but actually on a serious note, can you imagine, living during those times...no wonder they saved everything...and when it came to resturant meals, they felt as if they were paying for all that stuff, they should get to take it....they'd even ask for the menus???????? LOL Suvinours, yanno? Did I spell that right?

Yup that's my grandmother's logic. We payed for it, we should be able to take it home. And yes, that is usually why they do it, they went through some really tough times and struggled along the way. I can not imagine living through that time. We are so spoiled and we think we have it bad.

As for the spelling. Honestly, I don't think so but it's too late for me to really know. LOL. But I'm headed to join hubby in bed. He's got some food and all this talk about restaurants and food got me hungry. LOL.

Have a great night all.
