Statements like this disgust me.
Unless she has a penis, then a woman is not built like an adolescent boy. Some women are thin, and that doesn't revoke their vagina, uterus and xx chromosome from them . Not to mention, most high fashion models are teenage girls. Way to go - picking on young girls.
Why does it bother you that some women are thin and some men find them attractive? I don't understand why plump women are so resentful towards thin women....if you think they look so bad and think most men don't find them attractive, then why so bitter towards thin women?
No disrespect but you don't think that certain models don't resemble 11 yr old boys?? Kate Moss and others.

I'm not picking on young girls... I used to feel like I had to look that way, until I finally got some sense and realized that I am who I am, and I can't change the way I'm built. I love my curves and flaws. Welcome to being human!
I'm not resentful of thin women. I'm resentful of the fact that the media gives young girls who aren't built like wafers to starve and harm themselves, their self-esteem, and their bodies to be the 'ideal'. No one is allowed to feel good about themselves anymore with out someone point fingers, or telling them they aren't good enough.

That's exactly what you are doing with your "adolescent boys" and "wafers" comments....making women & young girls feel bad about their bodies.
Hi everyone,
This is my first post and i hope ive pressed the right buttons to set this up properly
Im a 23 year old guy and whilst i may not be a sasquatch, i do have enough body hair to spark some insecurities when taking my shirt off in public. It basically grows everywhere... I also like to keep fit so im actually in pretty good shape.
At first i thought i was Gods junior science fare experiment, as i turned out much hairier then my family and friends. I was confused as to why this was. (Im not THAT religious by the way lol).
I see that the focus of many similar threads is to find out whether or not women find hairy men attractive. Its quite evident that its up to the individual to decide and there can be no answer to the question without making a blunt generalization about all women.
Sports Stars, Cover Boys and Male Icons are all practically hairless. These people are selected predominantly for their looks (not so much sport stars but you know what i mean) and have become a somewhat 'rolemodel' for guys wanting to appear more attractive. Much like the way women are protrayed in magazines and how THEY can be idolised by other women wanting to improve their body image.
I look at old pics of family and friends (guys) from the 70's and 80's to see them quite comfortably half naked in public and not worrying about the public eye passing judgment on them. It seemed that these guys lived in a time where it was socially accepted to be hairy (or overweight). I even asked some of them and they agree. Some of them are NOW having their body hair lasered off (and they've been married for years!!)
I missed this period and grew up in a time where people will pass judgment (even ridicule ) on others based upon their skin deep appearance.
From a young age i was told i "NEEDED" to wax in order to find a girlfriend and that i would be unnatractive if i didnt. Whilst i do sometimes give in to these demands i did however grow quite insecure about my body image and it has effected me in many ways.
Searching for partners, casually dressing and even socialising are all hindered by my body hair and whilst there are temporary fixes there is no permanent solution without breaking the bank.
Im not here to give you my sob story, nor am i here to ask you whether or not someone could find hairy guys attractive ( most guys have these answers).
I would just like to discuss how society can label people based upon their appearance and i use MY APPEARANCE as an example.
My question is "At what point did we decide that a textbook 'hunk' should be slim, curvy and have no to minimal body hair?"
Oh and forgive me if ive gone about this the wrong way ( im not used to forum ettiquette).
A: to your question is..... when society decided that the textbook 'hot chick" should look the same = slim, curvy, and .... no hair......... ahhem... down there. Blame it on the booming porn industry.
Also, there's laser hair removal therapy. They can zap it off forever.
I saw a guy with a beard the other day that looked hot. lol. Seriously.

Not curvy at all... I'll take slender over chubby too. I don't like bony skinny or fat. Lean with some muscle tone is ideal.
As for hair, I think chest hair can be sexy, but too much is not. It really depends on the guy. I mentioned recently that I've seen some young guys with beards who were pretty cute. I also hate when men shave their legs - not sexy.
I'm stating ideals here....of course a great personality goes a long way.

Are you saying I like gay men?
