Explain why women are all over scuzzy dudes driving rolling boom boxes, smoking cigarettes, getting drunk, walking around with their pants around their knees and slacking off work?

I've talked to a lot of women about this. They even openly admit they go for dodgy guys and pass over the decent guy. It's a challenge. Women need or want that challenge. I have two work colleagues, both ladies that could if they wanted have a decent man. One just divorced an abusive man and is already living with a nutjob before the papers are signed, another is hooked up with a married man. Both know they are doing wrong, but can't explain it. Both know there are decent men in their life they could hook up with instead. I said to both I think it's the challenge of "fixing" those idiots and actually both were reflective and admitted that was probably the case.

I do believe after you are older and have had some disappointments and are back in the dating pool that what interested you at 20 will probably not interest you at 45 for instance.

Yep, you never know what two reasonable adults can find to be an mutually agreeable situation.

Nope. I was NEVER interested in "scuzzy" dudes, at any age. Nor were any of my girlfriends. The behavior you speak of is usually associated with, well, slutty/low class people. Why would you want to associate with anyone like THAT in the first place? Women that have a freakin BRAIN do NOT "need or want that challenge". Geesh. What kind of people are you hanging out with???

Difficult people do not have to be "scuzzy dudes"!

That was his term, not mine. But, frankly, I wouldn't use the term "difficult" to describe low/no class.

Obviously we don't get each other... It has nothing to do with low/no class, either. Excluding your assumptions (which are also valid to some extend), the rest of the cases are about intrigue and mental challenge mostly.

Gotcha. Still, gals that go for guys that "need fixing"...I question why anyone would be interested in a woman that is that stupid, or desperate. That was my point...apparently not well made.

I don't know, dear. Can't say I can complain too much of lack of interest in my life so far. Maybe now it's time to pay off my debts and I don't know it yet...

Not hanging out with any of em, sweety.

I see decent, smart women all the time go after absolute pinheads. I've seen it my whole life. Open yer eyes a bit or get out more.

Sadly, I have to agree with this.
That's why I'm taking up smoking, getting drunk and wearing my pants around my knees at the unemployment office....tres sexy no?
