Not the "broken home"/"troubled marriage" demographic. I'm the "play devil's advocate" demographic. I don't have a fan club among the women on CD, thanks to the old-fashioned values taught to me by my immigrant parents, which aren't simpatico with what they want to hear. Thank God for that.

Yep...my longtime SO and I met because he was a forum regular on a site I moderated (not this site, however).
Not everyone has a different online persona than they have in real life. Once you hang out with somebody in person, the same rules apply as any other dating...you expect that people are on their best behavior at first, and over time spent together, they open up to you and you see the real person more completely, and you either like it, and they like you, and it works out, or it doesn't and you move on.
I don't really see very much flirtation on here, though.
There was a time shortly after I joined CD that someone was endlessly trying to flirt with me, and it got a bit uncomfortable because he kept pestering me about meeting up with him, even though I never once flirted back and never gave him any indication that I was interested.
