LOL, true that! Weirdly enough, when I had short hair, it was completely straight and limp but when I grew it, it got wavy. I dunno.

No length can put waves in my straight sticks! It's just unbelievable how little can be done about hair! By now there are ways to grow parts of the opposite gender for Pete's sake and they can't come up with some pill that makes your hair grow as you want it?!

Heh, I've certainly not mastered it. But what I can manage looks cute so, wth. When I was in college, one of the girls in the dorm room next to mine was a MASTER of the French braid. She could French-braid her own hair perfectly and other people's, too. I'd always have her do my hair for special occasions.

Have you ever tried that curling shampoo? I've always wondered if it works!

Absolutely agree with you on the misplaced priorities! Lots of products out now for "male enhancement" but we gals have to go to extremes sometimes to "enhance" ourselves!

I was surrounded by hair chicks when I was doing ballet and they could do the perfect french braid in a matter of minutes and attempted numerous times to teach me.

Eventually we all had to admit defeat! It's just beyond me!

But if you can do it, power to you!

I can do plaits and pony tails and pig tails and buns and a few snazzy up dos with clever hair sectioning but I think the French braid will always be beyond me.

My head hair is easier to manage when it is short.

My face hair is easier to manage being a foot long. Instead of spending time shaving, I can braid it, or run conditioner through it and ignore it.
