I love Natalie Portman's look. It's not for everyone though—on many, it would be unflattering.

Not a fan myself, she would look much better with long hair.

Natalie Portman has lovely features, and the lack of hair allows us to see all the delicate curves of her face. It is jarring to see a woman without hair, but that's just a cultural thing. A haircut like this can be artistic.

My favorite aunt had breast cancer and underwent chemo. All her glossy brown hair fell out. Her hair grew back silver, making me realize that she had gotten older, and I suddenly noticed the lines on her face. Still, she has striking blue eyes and my grandmother's cheekbones, and she looked just as beautiful and feminine as ever.

I guess I'll have to start practicing, then

I cut my own hair because everyone I went to did the "long layers" thing no matter what I said - it was annoying.

Does she always wear it this way? She had to shave her head for "V for Vendetta" but I didn't realize she kept it like that! (That's an AWESOME movie, btw.)

Most men don't care.

I've noticed that girls will have long hair, get married, and then get it cut shorter. I don't know why this is. Less maintenance?[/quote]

Not true. See my post #122 quoting a poll taken on the subject. Men do care. They care very much. I personally would not be with a woman with a little boys haircut. I would feel ummm like a pedophile. EEEKKKS!!!

Yuk!! You ain't kiddin it ain't for everyone. If all women looked like that I would turn gay or at least live a solitude life. She even has a mans name.

Isn't it human instinct to want to look nice for the opposite sex?

But it all cycles back to...most married women have man-hair. I have long hair, it's kind of wild because it is wavy, and I have thought of cutting it, because it is not what men choose.

This is how women my age wear their hair.
It depresses me to think that's how I should look or conform to, to get a guy to like me. I look too wild for my age.
