I am a 23 old male and still i think i have not reached my prime yet regardless of having graduated from University in Bachelors Electrical engineering, i know there is a lot more to life. This is a question that probably the more mature folks here could answer.
Your choice. If you don't work at it, probably around 25. If you are willing to do some work, then it's entirely your choice. Exercise your mind, it gets sharper every year. Exercise your body, it gets better all the time. Exercise your wisdom, you become less the fool.
Stop exercising and you get dull, weak, and foolish. Like TV.
30's are the hardest. In your 20's you have optimism towards the future, you still have a lot of discovery and exploration to look forward to, and you are often forgiven more easily for mistakes on account of your age. In your 30's life tends to be a grind. It's when most people start to realize they aren't going to set the world on fire and that you have to make some compromises in order to make it in this world. You start attending more funerals in your 30's too, and if your parents are still around, they are aging, and it's a humbling process to watch your once vibrant and very active parents start running out of steam.
Your metabolism also starts to slow down, so if you don't watch what you eat and make an effort to exercise the you'll put weight on just by looking at food. When I hit 35 I really had to work at keeping myself at a healthy weight. In my 20's I couldn't put on weight if I tried.
Enjoy your 20's, and don't sweat the 30's. In your 30's you're still a youngster. Stay active, keep finding ways to challenge and improve yourself, because when 40 rolls around, you are going to take inventory of your life and the better you prepared yourself in your 30's the happier you'll be in your 40's, it makes the midlife crisis a little easier to manage.
