Well I can't imagine a lady from the more populated lower 48 states ever wanting to live where I do. But the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise...I would'nt mind having a lady friend to go visit once in awhile. Even if it meant flying or driving clear across the country.
Hang in there 7th gen...there is someone for everyone...I'm sure you will find yours...or she will find you.

If you had said to me 9 years ago that I would be married, and a "housewife", and making my hubby's lunch and dinner almost every night. Not to mention not going out dancing a couple nights a week. I would of laughed so hard they would of put me away.
So see never say never.
I could ask my sister if she has any single friends, wait never mind I just had a flashback on the dates she would "fix" me up with her single male friends when I would come down here to visit.
I should of been suspious on one when she said to me "um your not planning on wearing heels are you" mind you I don't have a problem with shorter men but I am only 5'3'. Remember that joke about men enjoying dancing with taller women ?? well you get the picture of that date.
OK we will leave my sister out of this
Just remember Rance after the trip when I am raving about how great we all knew you were and I can give first hand accounts, you will have to hire a social secretary
I'm with Rance on this one. I've been standing in the corner of the room with my hand raised and not ONE lady has acknowledged me.(let's see : showered this morn, shaved last night,combed hair...hmmmm......must be the remoteness of this place)

Karla we will be going slow and stopping often I'm sure. I promise I will not watch any NASCAR before I drive you and hubby through the 2 mountain passes and all 1000 sharp corners!
And I think I have made a date with a lady in Orlando (is that far from you) who keeps making me blush. So I'm good in that department. Looks like I'm vacationing in Florida come December! I wanna ride a rollercoaster!
HAHA! Rance I'd be more than willing to help if I didn't already have other plans. Long story short if I wasn't already spending two grand to go somewhere else this August, I'd be more than happy to visit Alaska. Oh and also Rance, good thing you put taping my hands in there when Ellie asked or else that would of sounded.... ... ... WELL.... =P

lol- do you have shopping up there Rance? I dated someone once in Houlton- Maine (lol- near Canada) so the attraction was -yes- we have shopping- It doesnt have to be major- but some women like a CVS or something within an hours drive-
