But quite frankly, after I got snowed in in NYC at the end of my Christmas trip I vowed to never fly anywhere North of the Sunbelt again in the winter unless I absolutely have to!
Yes! But there's always next year Actually, I did consider going to AZ over the holidays, my brother lives in Mesa. But a whole lotta other crap got in the way of that plan! After having had white Christmases for my entire life I would have loved to have gone without. Just once

He-he, from the frying pan into the fire! You think hurricanes are more fun?

I hear Nebrasba gets some intense winter weather! But south Florida is so far from home! Bet your mom will miss you!

There is a part of my that wants to experience a hurricane.

Probably the not-so-smart part of me.

Yeah, winters here are miserable. Bitter cold and non-stop wind.

Yeah, my mom would miss me, but I would always pop in here and there throughout the year.

Sounds like a plan! I'm not so sure a "relationships forum party" would be such a wise idea given the mix of personalities on here.

You never know... We do get some dusting occasionally and it seems to be happening more often. Global warming, you know... A few years ago the snow stuck overnight even in mid-town (normally the areas closer to the mountains get it) and I saw a snowman in the morning!

I don't think Phoenix ever gets snow, though. It's sitting at half of our altitude, which is the reason it's a hotter oven.

Thanks, but no thanks. Last month I got white knuckles wondering if that damn Ida will pass Cancun or not a day and a half before I was supposed to leave!

I don't know about you, folks, but this slave has to go to the sugar-cane fields tomorrow!

Ciao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
