Should've organized the exchange earlier - for the holidays!
But quite frankly, after I got snowed in in NYC at the end of my Christmas trip I vowed to never fly anywhere North of the Sunbelt again in the winter unless I absolutely have to!
Yes! But there's always next year Actually, I did consider going to AZ over the holidays, my brother lives in Mesa. But a whole lotta other crap got in the way of that plan! After having had white Christmases for my entire life I would have loved to have gone without. Just once
Ha, starting tomorrow we have a two day ice storm with a 2 day snow storm follow that. anywhere between 6-14 inches of snow. I can't even leave my house on Christmas
I will be living in South Florida by the end of 2010.
He-he, from the frying pan into the fire! You think hurricanes are more fun?

You never know... We do get some dusting occasionally and it seems to be happening more often. Global warming, you know... A few years ago the snow stuck overnight even in mid-town (normally the areas closer to the mountains get it) and I saw a snowman in the morning!
I don't think Phoenix ever gets snow, though. It's sitting at half of our altitude, which is the reason it's a hotter oven.
Thanks, but no thanks. Last month I got white knuckles wondering if that damn Ida will pass Cancun or not a day and a half before I was supposed to leave!
I don't know about you, folks, but this slave has to go to the sugar-cane fields tomorrow!
Ciao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
