I like the wrapping part more that the gift. One year I filled everyone's boxes with jingle bells and made them open them all at the same time - it was pretty funny.
Another thing I used to do was 'naughty and nice boxes' I got identical little boxes and each one had something in it that cost 5 bucks or less - like lottery tickets, M$M's, batteries that said, "Gift not included," calling cards, fuzzy dice and one had coal in it.
They were unmarked and it was up to my nephew while he was holding the box who it belonged to. Every year my mother got the coal.
