True, but replying to the thread is at least as productive as offering dating advice to brantleygilbert, and I see people are still doing that.

LOL... the fuh is wrong with this forum? Are there just no moderators, or are the moderators just not aware of how forums are actually moderated?

You swat anyone necrobumping, and you lock the thread, especially if the OP isn't active.

Wait till the kids are grown and then bail.

Or else realize you picked him for some good qualities. You were in love with him for some reason. No one person is everything to you. No one person can be your chatting companion, your debate companion, your hobby-sharing companion, your lover, etc.
Different people bring different things to your life. That's why you have friends, etc.

Do you love him? If not, then there is no point staying. Just remember the grass is not always greener on the other side.

So it's an old post, what is the difference. 20,000 people who used to be active on City Data liked the topic, why not give a new set of readers a chance to give their opinion?

If you read the thread, it's obvious the OP posted under multiple names and was banned for it. If you want to join a contrived thread that was invented to stir the pot and rile people up, go for it.

LOL!

Laughing out loud at an banal comment on a dead thread started by a now vanquished OP is more productive than offering dating advice to brantlygilbert.

I have a HS diploma and my wife has a PhD, wheeee. I read all 32 pages and now I'm afraid she's going to leave me if I don't become interesting by dinner time LOL.

Fortunately for me I'm in IT so she needs me. Hopefully she won't figure out the reboot trick anytime soon.
