Ok here's the update from my friend girl experience: When I first started this thread she was trying the free sights, POF and OKC. She met nothing but liars and men who only contacted her because of her looks but wasn't at all interested in the person she is. Also women are not the only ones who lie about not having children as she chatted with a guy she was going to meet with until she figured she'd ask him if he had any kids although his profile said he didn't, she wanted to double check and he actually ended up having a 6 yr old. Another guy lied about his age in his profile so women are not the only ones lying on their profile men are too.
So after the riff-faff she encountered with the free sites, she decided to try one paid site and everyone she asked recommended Eharmony so she signed up. I logged on to her account to see what type of matches they matched her with and she's gotten some really good matches. Most of them are professionals and she didn't limit her search to her state or city because she wanted to get people she other wise would not have met in the real world.
They also do a flexible match in which those are the people who you aren't initially matched with but the areas that made them not make the cut wasn't a big enough deal to cancel them out completely and that equal more matches. However she didn't like any of the flexible matches but liked most of the real matches she's received. She recently began talking to one of the matches outside Eharmony and she says they have so much in common and she already feel he's the one. He doesn't live in her city anymore but he has family and friends who live there so him coming there won't be a problem and she also doesn't want to live in her city forever so she's very open to moving where he is. She has only been signed up with Eharmony for a month and already feel she has met her soulmate.
Yes she did say the questionnaire was long but felt it was necessary and she preferred the questionnaire over men sending messages cos her pic got them excited. She also felt the site was pretty expensive but felt that's another way to only draw quality people because no one is going to pay and not be serious. Over all she said she will recommend Eharmony to everyone who is emotionally healthy single and ready for marriage. She gives it 2 thumbs up!
