Do you find manners...saying please and thank you, opening doors, pulling out chairs etc. attractive, or a sign of weakness?

Weakness?

There is nothing as unattractive as uncouthness. Manners and basic etiquette are important to me. It's a sign of respect for the people around you.

I find a man with good manners incredibly appealing.

They are necessary.

However, I did date a man who reminded me of one of those damn cartoon gophers that were so polite. "After you, no after you, no you, I insist, you first, please, I insist, thank you, no thank you, you're welcome, and thank you, no you're so kind, you're the best, After you, no you..." Ugh.

I find it very attractive, especially when I am hauling a lot of stuff through a door way, thus why I do it for others. I do not see how it could be perceived as a sign of weakness though.

I didn't think you could be too polite.....I have been proven wrong

I don't see how politeness can be considered a weakness. It's a very attractive trait to me.

Woe is the world we live in when politeness is considered weakness. Let's all be jackasses to each other, that'll make things a lot more smooth. A woman with manners is incredibly attractive to me because her parents did a good job of raising her with good moral character. I appreciate when people do nice things for me so I in turn, return the favor. Please and Thank You are part of my vocab. The world would be a better place if everyone acted like they had some sense.

Politeness is a major turn on for me. It can make someone quite ordinary appear gorgeous and like a 10 in my book. Definitely not a weakness. Combined with how you carry yourself as well. Yes, some people are meek but when you're a strong man who obviously has self-confidence but is polite and courteous - nothing is sexier!
