I think it makes as much sense as, "Better a young man's darling than an old man's slave." Nobody would choose to be a slave over being a darling, so the age of the man is moot.
There is truth to it. The most respectful relationships I've had have been with older men. It's usually guys my age and younger who treat women like sex toys.

Okay ... so? Many immature women will also choose to go with some old moneybags knowing full well he's going to treat her like dirt. How does that prove anything one way or the other? It doesn't.

I came back to see if your post was in response to my overgeneralized "nobody would choose" statement, because yes, obviously SOME dimwits do choose to be slaves, but I think you're tilting at a different windwill. Thanks for letting me off easy, though.

Old and young have far less to do with it than this:
Women have the choice. They can either find a man who gives them status or one who gives them nearly everything else.
Status makes a woman a slave until she is in a position ot bring in the divorce attorney. Most choose the status and if she wants the big potential payout, this is usually the way to go.
