I hope you're talking about someone other than me, because I never have suggested you're not a Christian. I have to reason to doubt your word on that.
Mockery is a complete disregard for someone's personal feelings at the expense of obtaining some level of personal gratification. It most certainly is the opposite of having empathy.

And yet you feel correct in calling Trout or Warden atheist no matter how often they tell you they are not. Do you know them personally or is this yet another case where you get different rules from what you expect from the rest.

I've explained before that when you have a dozen or more people attacking your faith, it all drones into one collective atheist voice. If mislabeling someone as an atheist is considered mockery then they should create a thread or post clearly distinguishing their beliefs.

Look no further than the christian bible. Seems there are 11 verses that are so compelling, that many who have actually READ the bible, see atheism as a viable non'belief.

This was a favorite verse of slave-owners during the period of slavery in our country. In fact, all of Exodus 21 talks about the rules for treating slaves.

This is another verse about slaves, but this one includes the children. According to God, it is okay to buy and sell children. So apparently, everybody today who is trying to raise awareness about the human trafficking of children just needs to shut up. Apparently, God’s in favor of it.

I was referring only to the second paragraph. 8f you feel someone has to know you personally before they can say you are or are not a Christian, you should have to also know someone before you can tell them that they are not a Christian. You have told several posters that they cannot be Christians and yet you do not know them personally.
