It looked to me like you where in some good company there. I wish I could stay on track like they do during a debate.

These type of people don't care about a belief, they care about each other. they are atheist, theists, GLTB, lawyers, and truck drives. and they are liberal liberals and liberal conservatives.
Always appreciate you, AA.

It's a ridiculous question. A more realistic question would be why would anyone want to commit sin in heaven especially knowing the consequences? Not gonna happen.
Except it already has, according to the Bible.

The point about Marketing methods is a fair one. Let me prpose the analogy of someone selling -say -an investment plan that will pay out a decent bit extra when it matures, and selling a plan that gets you nothing except a hole in your bank account from paying in regular.

To point to the marketing method is not the point. It is the product that is being marketed that is the point. Both sides make claims and invite the browsers, pubic and everybody in reach to choose their product. To enable them to make the right choice we explain what it is and how it works and delivers. Then people make their (hopefully well -informed) choice.
we are hash on each other. we jump and shout, I whine and scream. But I always reread your post again. with dyslexia reading a computer screen is a nightmare for me. sometimes i am like 'f-----' I misread his post, after I post of course. Also what I like about you is you can take it back as hard as you give it. The other two major sites are great at calling people names and not so good when it comes back at them. kudos to you for that.

Your atheism's rejection of sound science that will soon be accepted (many people already accept it) in the name of atheism gives me trouble.

i never got over Mordrant telling me "... because it makes my job 'selling atheism' harder..." can you get me around that?

But even the most "normal" religious believers will still try to make others conform to their beliefs. They don't have to be crazy, actually, to do this.
yes, very true. i have very nice relatives trying to "save me" to this day. And I am always trying to save them with, as they like to tell me,that damn science stuff. So we all do this to some extent don't we. There is no line in the sand that separates 'us" from 'them'. We are them and we must be aware of ourselves and our flaws too. to me that's the struggle ... I keep getting in my own way.

My family leave me alone now - which means they have given up and just accept me.

Then there is only one question to ask and that is... 'Why couldn't your god produce the same the first time around and save all the misery.' ...but someone else will have to ask him as he doesn't talk to me. I cry myself to sleep about it every night!

What's your take on that Trans since you state he is your friend. I'm curious to see whether /how / if you rationalize defend minimize dismiss trivialize justify that deception.

Does it enhance the credibility attractiveness appeal of the product atheists are marketing? Does it paint atheists and the product they are marketing in a good light or not?

I'm curious what spin you put on this. Same question posed to Rafius, and to Trout and to Shirina and to Nozz and to Matadora and cupper and dhillon and any other militant atheists. What's your response?
For myself. I don't like it and if you look back, I called him out as a troll on many occasions. You could also check with June 7th and she will no doubt confirm that I wrote to her on several occasions expressing concerns that he wasn't what he was putting forward.

I would create man, with free will, in paradise right from the start Jeff.

How would you do it Jeff?
