True religion, is visiting widows and orphans in their time of need. (James 1:27).
So that must be the non Christian religions Christianity used for their ideas on charity.

Because Ezekiel 37:24-28 means something other than what it really say, right?

Ha, Jeremiah, the failed prophecy Daniel was invented to explain away.
A Christian told me today that Christianity is the only TRUE religion and that all other religions are "False" religions. So is Christianity the only TRUE religion?
there is no such thing, all religions are made up by mankind, originally to control the illiterate peasants.
They, plural. And the different versions of Christianity can not all be true.
And that brings up a lie that some christians often use in that context. When they're trying to tell you how true and wonderful christianity is, they'll include all the various denominations within christianity. But then when you start talking about some of the denominations -- a good example being mormonism -- they'll start saying well, they're not real christians. It's akin to a bait and switch tactic based on deceit.
Religion defines one’s relationship with that which one understands as a higher power or supernatural state. Members of each religion rely upon inspired scribes who can only write down what they understand or comprehend, thus are limited by their own language, experience and knowledge. No one is dismissing the inspiration, nor the lofty goal of sublime morality, but remember to excuse the factual accuracy of such writings, when transcribing that which is, by definition, about the supernatural or metaphysical nondimensional timeless realm of pure thought.
Imagine a scriptural description of a 21st century metal oxide silicon field effect transistor made by diffusing one element into another, creating a PN junction, and the etching of a self aligning polysilicon gate - and so small that millions would fit on the head of a pin, used to make unimaginably fast "computing engines" that do arithmetic, paint images, let us communicate over vast distances... and other "miraculous" functions.

Can we simply forgive parochial scribes for their erroneous interpretations of non-material existence and non-sequential awareness of a nondimensional timeless now?

In other words, there is no one true path except the one you walk.
If that journey takes you closer to that which you believe as a higher power, great.
If that journey takes you farther away, perhaps you need a new road map.
