ANSWER: the world's sins.

It is sins that the church is in business to uncover and speak out against.
Now the sin of being Gay is very dark.
The death that comes from this sin is very real.
That is the message we in the church should be telling the Gays.
That they are in darkness and dead....dead to God.
and that only by repenting and turning from their lifestyle of sinning can they enter into the kingdom....

any other path that might try to walk is death...

i dunno, If I'm going to get up in arms about some sin, I'm going to pick the priests and "men of the church" who have inflicted terrible things on children.

THAT is the sin that the church should be "in the business to uncover & speak out against".

To me, that is a much "darker" sin than whether two men or two women love each other.

If homosexuality were to be outlawed how far should we go?

There are people opposed to unmarried couples living together, people opposed to birth control, people opposed to premarital sex, and the list goes on and on. Shall we outlaw those, and perhaps call for the death penalty for those as well?

If no, why not?

No that is silly. I suppose we should kill people who commit adultrey as well. Ultimately that is between them and God.
