Yes, and look at the chimpanzee obviously their hair is much thicker and darker than our vellus hair but like chimpanzees, our hair pattern is identical to theirs and like chimpanzees there is no hair on the soles of the feet, palm of our hands and on our lips. Even our hair pattering is litteraly identical to a chimps. And for some reason people think we are not animals. Sure our vellus hair is small..some of if i need to put my face right next to my skin to see it, and it's almost like white..but it's still there. Why do we need it? We have clothes! Well obviously...sometime in the past it was thicker and longer like our cousins other apes.

Also the great apes, like us have opposable thumbs (spelling?) and don't have a tail. Monkeys are not apes. Chimpanzees don't have tails, have same hair pattering as us, and have opposable thumbs. Why do we still have a tail bone? Oh that's right like chimpanzees who also don't have tails one of our old ancestors was in common with monkeys, which had a tail. Otherwise explain to me why we have hair all over our body and a useless tail bone?

They also nurture their young the way we do, from what I understand. They can be taught to understand English and be taught sign language. Not to mention ,they are just plain cute.

Apes are one of the few group of animals that have self recognition. Put a chimpanzee or gorilla infront of a mirror and it knows it's looking at itself. How do we know? because people put a sticker on a gorrillas head, put it infront of the mirror and the Gorilla saw the sticker in the mirror pointed at it then took it off. Having self awareness shows intelligence. Obviously I'm not saying they are anywhere near human intelligence, but compared to the animal world exception might be dolphins, isnt it funny the smartest animals on the planet are our cousins the great apes?

I think they are pretty close to us ( more so than many probably) intelligence wise. They just dont have the tools to express it.

YouTube - Self-Recognition in Apes

Shows apes do use tools, and has self recognition very interesting video. And remember monkeys are not apes. Apes are our closest relatives, monkeys also our relatives are more distant. Monkeys DONT have self recognition, apes do.

Look at 3:27 the chimp is looking at his eyebrows lol.

Look at 5:04

Adam is made in the bodily image of the one and only similitude of YHWH, who is God the Word. Enoch saw Him in heaven, hidden in God who was with God and who was God, as the Son of Man who was to come.

Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure[Greek, "tupos"] of him that was to come.
