One day, Science and Reasoning will stand above religion and folklore.
That is the way it should be. I have hope!
Religion is personal and a belief. It cannot be proven as a fact.
Speaking of science and reasoning. Who founded the Big Bang Theory? If something has a beginning does it have an end? Science is separated from philosophy for a reason. Not everything can be explained.
Once again, it can be debatable. No point though because we won't be able to change each others minds.
Post your little grin like the Cheshire cat all you want to act like you're being friendly but we know all of the deep seated, seathing hatred you have for anyone that disagrees with your viewpoint.
Will that interfer with your support of the pagans and Wiccans?
I support them. Does not mean I think their religion is anymore valid than Christianity.

Says who? You? With 1 post? Pathetic. Get out of here.
The only reason why we have science and scientific advances is because of God. Without God, man/woman could do nothing.
Speak for yourself! Yet we see innocent children abused or born with diseases that science cannot cure...where's the God in that? Oh, I'm sure some religious person will explain that away with some humble and yet a holier than thou attitude. God is there if you manifest him in your own mind and you are welcome to do so.
But that means 71% believe it's not out-of-date which woudl be a setback for the nonreligious left.
This person sucks at math and comprehension. They didn't even read the entire link. If they had they would've noticed:

The fact that fewer Americans say they have a religious identity does not necessarily mean there has been a decrease in overall religiosity in America. It is possible that some proportion of those who don't identify with a specific religion are still personally or spiritually religious.
Although a little more than one out of five Americans do not identify with a Christian faith, the Christmas season has ramifications for a broader segment of society. A Gallup survey conducted last year showed that 93% of all American adults said they celebrated Christmas.
Where's the profit in God? What can God do that will help me improve my stock portfolio?
Thats the American (capitalist viewpoint)
Persoanlly I find capitalism and the tenets of Christianity to be in direct conflict. So why are they both supporting the same ticket??? Methinks because its easy for greedy people to get votes by saying they hate gays and abortion, then they'll give you a tax cut too. (Don't forget all the kickbacks they'll take in the process)
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
Living in North Carolina I have had ample opportunities to watch/listen to Christian TV and radio. Talk about kick backs, a lot of time that stuff is infomercials where they sell God and by selling God I mean there is a toll free number which you can call to give money to the televangelist for the modern day equivalent of an indulgence. The song "Jesus He Knows Me" pretty much sums up the relationship between a bunch of what is promoted as "Christianity" today and capitalism.
