I love this thread, you guys are killing me.

So would it make this grandma, the grand cougar of them all?

Best thread ever.

When the TV commercial for The Villages says it is "Florida's friendiest home town, " I guess they weren't kidding.

Not by a long shot. Hattie Weiner, now 78, would be a contender for that title. I'm sure there are older cougars but likely none with Hattie's style and zest for life. She regularly dates men in their twenties.

Sounds like he didn't care. They probably had an open marriage.

I am just an old fashioned straight arrow one-woman-at-a-time guy. However, The Villages might be fun for a short vacation, wonder if they have short time rentals for visitors considering a move there?

There's a lot of evidence suggesting that sexual exhibitionism is an early sign of Alzheimer's. I've only heard of cases involving men, but why wouldn't it be possible for women, too? Anyone who's ever been treated for depression can tell you the sex drive is definitely effected by brain chemistry. Lack of sex drive is one of the primary side-effect complaints about certain anti-depressants. My bet is Granny has some brain chemistry issues that could be her nature or a side effect of medication. Not that anyone is likely to look that hard at the situation unless her family has money for good doctors ...

Sounds like these are the people of the 'hippie generation' of the 60's and their free love “if it feels good, do it” attitudes included little forethought nor concern for the consequences of their actions.

I think that line was taken from someone in the community being interviewed using exaggerative humor.

2000 census figures (admittedly via Wikipedia - but I still trust them here) show 10 women for every 9 men.
