I got news for her... in the Bahamas there are days that are so hot she'll be happy to have any flavor ice cream. Even the funny-tasting pistachio from Kroger that has the fake green color.

Aren't they all over the place? They are called retirement communities. As soon as it is for "or whomever", then it is nothing unique. There are pockets of co-housing in lots of places and that is essentially what this is.

I know a few people in roommate situations. It's just 3-4 people sharing a house and usually at least 2 of the roomates are related. Roomates are more common in expensive urban areas like Nova or Southern California.
