Yes, and you used to be able to buy a kit for a whole house then too.

Thise houses are fun to look at.

I find some of them on pinterest.

And the "easy prices"...wish we could buy houses kit and all now for that now!!!

Wasn't the Cuban Missile Crisis in '62? I was a science nerd from an early age, and it was pretty traumatic. I went to bed every night not knowing if I would wake up the next morning or if there would be a world to wake up to.

You can tell money was worth more back then, dimes and quarters were made of silver, pennies were solid copper (not copper-coated zinc).
