I have a swivel rocker recliner. Sometimes I need to get my feet up, but sometimes I just like the motion of rocking. Something comforting about that.

Fan of rocking chairs here and own 4. Two are on my porch, one is my rocker recliner, and the 4th is an oak rocker given to me by my late parents as a house warming gift nearly 30 years ago.

The only time I had a rocking chair was when the kids were babies. However, I do like sitting outside of Cracker Barrel in one of their rocking chairs when the weather is nice.

Another fan. I have one in the living room and about five in storage waiting to get a bigger house. I love them, and buy them at estate sales and restore them.

They are so relaxing. I think that is why the Charlotte airport has tons of rocking chairs in their atrium and they are always in use!

I do have a rocking chair, but I have to be careful in it so as not to fall. I can't put my feet on the floor when I'm in it.

I do have a recliner. Also a yoga mat, a rowing machine, a set of hand weights, a Fitbit, a wine rack, a library card, a botanical garden membership, an OLLI membership, a national park pass, and season tickets to 2 theater organizations. I use all of them regularly.
I have a couch, a bed, a shower, 2 TVs, an elliptical----oh, wait. Wasn't this about rocking chairs?

I love them, but always like to keep my feet elevated, so nope. Now if my padded leather recliner rocked, THAT would really ROCK!

We have two antique rocking chairs. One belonged to a beloved neighbor that passed. I bought it and an antique table from her son when she passed. I have one in need of repair and upholstery sitting in the attic. That will be a project as soon as the weather breaks. We also have to have some new pieces made for one arm. It will be beautiful again. Now to find a place for it in an already full house. I love rocking chairs.

A glider rocking chair with matching ottoman is a favorite of guests and the cats, as is the Amish Oak glider love seat with glider ottoman. Out on the porches, there's Spousal Unit's grandmother's heavy wooden rocker with a hard naugahyde seat, a wooden glider with cushions, a glider sofa and matching glider chairs. They all rock, but only Grandma's chair goes a wandering... Our late traveling cat loved that chair.

Yeah, we like rockers (gliders).

I own multiple. I'd hate to have just regular chairs.
