Wow, and it was warm @6pm over here.
Strange, but lovely Sept weather in the valley. Hope you got to enjoy it, chim.

I live in Placerville, and think we get the best of it. A little snow in the winter, but if we want to go swimming at Sunsplash, we can drive down into the heat! If you like it cool, you can head up in the mountains. I like not having the natural hazards many places have. Tornados, massive Thunderstorms, wet rainy coldness, etc. I grew up in Florida, and hate the real sticky humidity. This area is the best!

We seem to be in the middle of a temporary break from the intense heat Sacramento is typically known for, but its anybody's guess as to how long the relief will last.

It's summer; it's supposed to be hot, as it is across much of the country in the summer, normally.

You got in backwards, warm to hot is the normal in Sacramento, not intense heat. Phoenix, Austin, Vegas are places known for endless Intense heat.

Yeah, but it's hot here all year around. To me, anything above 75 degrees is extreme heat. Trust me, I've lived in Sacramento all my life. I know whereof I speak.

Yeah, but you have Not lived all your life where it is intensely, oppressively, and concisely hotter than Sacramento....and there are many many other places much much hotter than Sacramento.
