You mentioned that things are beginning to hum with new businesses replacing old ones. One of the joys of living downtown was walking the length of J Street down to Alhambra and seeing what had closed and what had opened in its place. We did so every several months, then usually came back up K Street, and there were always changes. Made for a nice little adventure and some fun discoveries. Sometimesd L Street was almost as good!
