Just got a robocall from North East ISD. All after-school practices, games and events are cancelled tonight due to the weather.

Looks like one of you mods changed my title Well just 30 minutes ago a tree fell from one of the homes on my street. It also covers the entire street making passing difficult. Destroyed their front yard metal fence though.. If it would of falling 90 degrees to the left it would of destroyed one of their cars.

KSAT has an ongoing slideshow with 84 pictures (so far) of storm damage throughout the city.

I think the NWS underestimated the intensity of this storm. To make it all the way into SA as a tropical storm seems pretty odd to me.

Yea....wasn't it called "had a bad day" or something. I like the change though, because you started the thread that everyone posted on to tell their own tropical storm Hermine story.

Aint that the truth! It seems very unusual. I don't think it losing strength either.

It was called Dealing with the Storm But yah like the name change. Also when they show it on TV it looks like SA is in the eye of the storm.

Here at UIW a few trees and large branches fell down. The winds were gusting to 60mph amazing for a tropical storm to maintain this type of intensity.
