They put up the signs this week for the new Tacara development going up across the street at Stone Oak and 281. I've seen artist sketches of what it will look like, but is there anything with specific stores, layout, etc? The layouts at their webiste are too tiny to read.
Also, is Tacara the name of the center with the HEB being built at Evans and 281?

I saw a new restaurant sign at the Village at Stone Oak today: 29 Brix, Restaurant and Bar. Anyone know anything about this place?

Tacara will have a Barnes & Noble and Gold Class Cinema. It also includes a 250+ room boutique hotel. This project was scheduled to open in 2010 but ran into problems with the city. I'm not sure what the current projected opening date is.

You can find tenants and info. on Stone Ridge at //www.city-data.com/forum/san-a...us-sports.html

I hope they stick with the plan to include a Barnes & Noble at Tacara. I was pretty disappointed when the purported Borders did not make it into the Villages of Stone Oak across the highway. This area is too large to only have one bookstore, the B&N at 281&1604.
