I've been trying ALL day long to reach someone to discuss my $1,800 water bill. Why do you not have a system where I can queue up and wait in line? How do I reach someone now that your offices are closed? Is there another number I can call for these billing error issues? Thank you.
From a visitor post on the SAWS Facebook page elnina provided. Yikes! I would be all over them if they tried billing me that much.

SURE they opened a hotline. Just no mention of how many folks were actually manning the thing......

"Look, boss - put that new hire on the line, tell them to take their time, sound VERY sympathetic, and wait for 'em to get tired of "no one being available to answer".

Tried to call them 20 times this morning, no bueno. MAYBE if they put those hotline folks out reading meters they would not have to get a hotline going.....

I called the hotline to see if I could reach a person. It said all customer reps are busy and my expected wait time is 2 minutes but I didn't stay on the phone to test that. The hotline opened this morning at 8am so it may take some time to thin out the herd of angry customers.

I called two days ago while at work and I waited 46 minutes to speak to someone. Unbelievable!

The "special" hotline only started as of today at 8am as stated in the news article. You probably called the regular number but from what I am seeing here, there is no improvement for the customer.

Why would you waste so much effort and time on this? Give it some time and call in a few days...don't sweat the small stuff.
