Just curious as to how many cali-transplants are here...and/or are they that influential on dining trends in San Antonio?

There have been several restaurant closings in the Stone Oak area. Wonder what's up with that?

I'm a Cali transplant. Although I have adopted several new Texas-based restaurants as favorites, I am excited that some CA-based chains are relocating here (like In N Out!!! ).

Salata, a very healthy salad bar place opened up on Sonterra Blvd. at Sigma, between Local Coffee and Nothing Bundt Cake. Not self serve but very generous serving. Worth the trip! A bit expensive but we will definitively return!!!

On Stone Oak Parkway in the Greenfields Center, IHOP and Milano's Italian Grill are going in.

Stone Oak @ Hardy Oak in vacant lot behind McDonalds a Neadlers Backery & Cafe will be built.
Sorry if already posted. I looked back five pages and didn't see it so I posted

Is the IHOP going in the Fire Wok space?

Indeed it is. They appear to be moving quickly. The Italian place will be where Rads was. Let's hope they both make it. The Rads location seems cursed!

I'm not sure I ever saw it open. I drove by it at various times of day and evening and I simply don't ever remember seeing any customers in the place.
