I had fish and chips the first time and chili the second. The fish was soggy and the bleu cheese dressing that came on the salad was sweet, which is the antithesis of what bleu cheese should ever be. The chili was probably the worst I've ever had and that's including the cheap 60 cent cans of hotdog chili. I think they like adding sugar to everything, which is just wrong on many different levels.

We have been really happy with BJs up until our last trip. The service was HORRIBLE. We were one of only about 5 full tables and it took us about 2 hours from start to finish. The waitress forgot part of our order (when it did show up) and was not friendly at all. So disappointing because that is kind of our "go to" place at AR.

Chiming in on the BJ's bashing. I SOOOOOOOO wanted to like it. I mean, they claim to be a "Brewhouse". We've gone twice, and both times were mediocre at BEST. Poor service, lackluster food (I too had the fish and chips and it was the MOST bland fish I've EVER had! NO flavor!), just "eh" beer (their house brews are BLAH!).

Would sooooooooooo rather have a Lion & Rose, or Flying Saucer, or FREETAIL over here!!!

Default 54th Street Bar and Grill

Has anyone tried the 54th Street Bar and Grill? Was it loud/crowded/high priced/tasty? What did you think?

Look in the new restaurants thread. So far it seems pretty underwhelming, which is unfortunately par for the course.
